Triple Creeks was first founded by Sera, a strategic planning consultant specializing in non-profit development. We work with our clients to:

Non-profit organizations are faced with countless systemic challenges from the get-go.
There is a substantial amount of idealism in the mainstream imagination when it comes to non-profits – and challenges baked into them that make a non-profit structure very challenging to run equitably. Here are some of the major ways the legal requirements, benefits, and beliefs around non-profit organizational structure contribute to continued inequities:
- Non-profits are governed by largely volunteer boards – and as a result, they are not governed by the community they are serving.
- Non-profits depend on funding from the philanthropic sector, where the flow of money is largely dictated by the beneficiaries of capitalism.
- Becoming a non-profit is not the only way to effect positive change within a community, or have community-minded ideals nested into your work – and the idea that it is the only way is problematic!

Through Sera Deva’s many years working within Organic Growers School (OGS) as an employee, she learned the ins and outs of a lot of what she does today with Triple Creeks. Through mentorship from leadership, growing her networks of stewardship-based organizations, and advancing into her Director position, Sera learned what a unicorn they truly were in the nonprofit world. In her final year, she took part in restructuring the organization into a horizontal leadership model upon the departure of the Executive Director. Valley Camp Peru found Triple Creeks’ when they were beginning their journey as a registered nonprofit and Peruvian-based association, needing to balance the complexities of both designations and get their staff structure defined.

We craft your contract, with your goals in mind
After our Discovery Call we’ll get you a draft of our contract that will detail our collective goals, the contract length & payment terms. You’ll review and provide any desired changes, and we’ll get our regular meetings on the books!
Our work can look a lot of different ways, but it will take a Team effort. We work well under pressure and we also love making this process easy for you. We will facilitate a pace conducive to meeting collective deadlines while keeping our work feeling fun.
